Wet, Wet, Wet, Glasgow City Centre

I don’t think I have seen it rain so hard this year, OMG, it was horrendous.
It certainly didn’t dampen Ashley’s commitment to take to the streets of Glasgow telling everyone about the Single launch.

Team Ashley

Ashley has a great team behind her, supporting her and all coming out on that terrible wet day.

All meeting up in Glasgow City Centre to spread the word and get everyone downloading Ashley’s single.

Ashley Single – Super Diva. Out now to download  support our local girl Ashley making the charts. She has worked so hard over the last year.

Ashley’s glam team, Head Strong Solutions for hair and Peaches and Paint for make-up give Ashley a glam look that would last through the wind and rain.

The bridge is known locally as 'The Highland Mans Umbrella'. still being used well today as just that for all local Glaswegians to get the rain.

Hielanman's (Highland man's) Umbrella is a marvellous piece of Victorian engineering, in riveted cast iron and glass, which carries the railway from Glasgow Central over Argyll Street.  People coming down from the Highlands in the 19th Century looking for work would shelter here if they were homeless. Became known as the Hielanman's (Highland man's) Umbrella - a derogatory term that stuck. Today it is best known as where you go to get into The Arches nightclub.
