With Jade’s makeup and hair finished, it's time to head out to Dean Castle Park, I am sure a few heads will be turned when out on location, Jade is looking stunning.

Some final final touches |
To flow with her dress the hair was dressed with lots of tumbling curls left to fall naturally on the face, the makeup bringing out the colours in the stunning flesh and sliver sequined floor length fishtail evening dress, with the sequins resembling sparkling scales giving a true mermaid feel.
The venue for the day was in the stunning Dean Castle Country Park, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire.
Dean Castle is situated in the Dean Castle Country Park in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland.
It was the stronghold for the Boyd Family, who were lords of Kilmarnock for over 400 years. The Castle takes its name from ‘The Dean’ or wooded valley, a common place name in Scotland.

The second look of the day jade was wanting a retro look to add to her portfolio and when myself and Stephanie first looked at jades portfolio images to find out what would suit her best the one thing that stood out for us both was the fantastic look she had for the timeless classic and very much on trend just now, the ultra-glam 1950’s style of Victory Rolls and beauty spots.

A rose the prefect accessory from the garden Jade added to the look of her outfit with red accessories to bring a modern twist to a vintage style. |
The Gatehouse at Dean Castle
The present Gatehouse was entirely built in 1935-6. It was never present in the original castle. However it is carefully copied from real sixteenth-century buildings, including details like the windows with half-wooden shutters and half-leaded glass. The overall design and decorative but usable gun loops are copied from the gatehouse built at Tolquhon Castle, Aberdeenshire built in the 1580s. The wooden walkway around the wall guarding the palace was added in the restoration. In 1975 the 9th Lord Howard de Walden gifted the castle, estate, his father’s collections of arms and armour, and his grandfather’s collection of musical instruments to the people of Kilmarnock.
The second I looked at Jades portfolio the 1940/50’s style just jumped out at me that jade would so suit, I don’t think I have ever got a style so right, this look is amazing on Jade, taking us straight back in the past but with softness and long length brings it bang up to date.
We finished our working day at 8pm with George shooting off for another shoot, Stephanie was in a rush to make her Friday night clients and Jade had to get to another modelling job in Glasgow and would working till 1am the next morning, so they all got packed off with some chicken soup and a slice of cake to have when they finished work… Best thing of working at home is when you finish you’re already at home, got my feet up with a cup of tea, slice of cake and some TV…. Bliss
